GTS refers to a Generation II COUPE. 1996-2002.

RT-10 could either be a generation I car 1992-1996 or a Gen II car (for the RT-10 this would be 1997-2002). It is a convertible as opposed to a coupe.

The ACR is a GTS that has been set up by the factory in mild race form. It deletes many creature comforts to save weight and if my memory serves me correctly, it has 10 more horsepower due to smooth air intake hoses. I believe that the suspension is also set up differently. The 1992-1995 RT-10 are the most crude (but some of us love them the most). A good choice for a newbie might be a 1996-2002 GTS or 1997-2002 RT-10.

Good luck.
