NJ Karting / Velocity 17

WOW! This is not your Chucky Cheese hangout for kids. This is a first class operation geared toward adult fun. Sure kids are welcome too! Velocity 17 had it's Grand Opening this month and the NJ Viper Club was invited for a first hand look at the facility. For those who came out in the rain, were treated to an indoor Karting track with bank turns, and high speed fun. They have a 4 man simulator which will give you options for any race track in the country or world, and you compete in DP, F1 or Nascar. A flight deck with ready room that prepares you how to fly an F18, with real dog fights! A tactical room that the local police find so realistic that they are using it for training in hostage and terrorist situations. If that's not enough the food court has a menu like any really good restaurant and the deserts and gelato are all home made. They even have a banquet facility to hold 500 people if so inclined. This is a great place to bring the family for a fun night out. Or if you want to plan a corporate event. You gotta check this place out!!!

Thanks Bobby for putting that together last night, that was a VERY fun place and definitely a place to safely test our driving skills and have a few laughs. I hope next time the weather agrees with us and I'll certainly be there again next time......oh yeah, and I think I'll hold my line on the track a little tighter next time!
