Nice, interesting article. I like the fact that they stated the following:

"While the number of supercars registered in California is up sharply, the rate at which they are getting into accidents is still small -- just over 1% -- and hasn't changed appreciably since the state began breaking data down by make in 2002. (The statewide accident rate for all vehicles was 3%.)"

The supercars are wrecked at a lesser rate than the "normal" cars.

Since, as DrDJ quoted, they are breaking stats down my make, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if the Viper, being a Dodge, doesn't get included because its' make is not Ferrari, Lambo, Aston, etc.
I think you are right there-And thats a good thing! Keeps the Viper "off the radar screen" of government/insurance nannys.
