Just an update to all the ACR owners who have been inquiring regarding our group letter to DC. The news is no news!! My most recent call has reiterated that due to the internal situation job survival is taking precedence over the customer-(not suprisingly) I will give it a little more time and then proceed to Defcom 2. It is a little unusual to have no response in light of the positive spirit in which we made our plea for help. The Viper experience has shown that Dodge has been very responsive to this type of request. Keep the faith and keep Rattlin'

Interesting how job security is taking precedence over the customer when, ultimately, job security exists because of the customer.

Thanks for the update Bob. Great point Tenney.

From the technical side, there's nothing new to report at this time. As you may be aware, I attempted to correct the problem by using better fitting upper mounting bolts/bushings. While I am convinced that this work represents an improvement, it did not correct the shock rattle. I have another idea that will involve replacement of the conical bushings and heim joints on the upper shock/spring mounts. I have refrained from initiating this next step in anticipation of corrective action from DC. Sans such action, I will reinitiate my efforts in the near term.

I have gotten tremendous support from the Viper community at large and more specifically from George Ciamillo from MGW, who I'm sure will be there to further suport development and ultimate resolution.

I am disappointed that my initial effort did not prove successful, but I will not be deterred from my final objective.
