I had the pleasure of getting a ride in John's 900plus RWHP 96 GTS at Mikes yesterday. Hair-raising to say the least. With each shift the car gulps massive amounts of road that literally feels like you were put in a video game. The difference is having the that extra sense of g-force similar to a jet going down the runway. It feels more like being piloted in an aircraft than a car.
Its a delicate dance for John to modulate the gas without the rear comming undone at any speed. Traction is the still a factor even over 140mph and you could hear that the motor still has a lot more power anxioulsy waiting to ignite. Did I mention 5th gear pulls insanely!!! Mike and John have accomplished creating a reliable everyday amusement park ride that you could drive to a wedding or funeral, get decent gas mileage, an annihalate 99% of all other vehicles on the road. Thanks to you guys for giving me a speed fix that should last me for a while.
