Oil catch can installation question

Installing a catch can on my 04' The engine is one of the earlier gen 3 models
where the breather ports are on the rear of the valve covers. The rear breather
tube goes under the intake to the front. My question is adding another 18" of hose to the
can and back to the intake going to lower the vacuum pressure and cause
problems ?
