Tirerack was selling these last year for $150... did anyone pick up a ton of them, and wouldn't mind selling a pair? Thanks!

When OEM for the Viper switched from 335/18 to 345/19, there was a "fire sale" on 335/18s and they could be had for $300/pair.

There are several sets on the classifieds- going rate for new ones from private sellers seems to be $500/pr

I've got a set that has 10K miles, they came with a set of rims I bought, I'd sell them very cheap to a member. They'll get you by for quite some time. I can measure tread depth and everything if you want. $150 for both.

Over the course of a year or so, I bought 5 sets ranging in price from $149 to $180. Sold one set through the ad section here....burned up 2 sets with 2 sets left to burn.

Found a nail in one of my tires on pre-tech and had to buy a set at Viper Days at Putnam Park over the summer...$800 the pair. Ouch! Pays to be prepared. :p

Same here. How long is it safe to store tire provided that they are kept in a cool dry place?

Michelin warrantees the tires for 6 years from the date of manufacture. I believe most, if not all, the overstocked tires were made in 01

PartsRack has em for $100/pair less than Tirerack. (So does Zisser I believe)

PartsRack and Zisser are 'almost always' the lowest prices around, and priced competitively w/ each other.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT

If I hadn't have picked up a set from a clubmember, I would have definitely gone with Partsrack over Tirerack... shipping is just as fast, and Jon's a site sponsor.
