Opinions on Chrome Lug Nuts & Powder Coated Wheels

Sorry this has absolutely nothing to do with performance, but . . . . shortly I'm installing flat gunmetal aftermarket wheels and I'm ambivalent about the appearance with the stock chrome lug nuts. If you've gone away from chrome lug nuts with your wheels, what have you done (splined black chrome, sprayed the stockers, etc.)? And no I'm not interested in the anodized finishes so popular with the import tuner crowd.

I bought lug nuts from the Bay. Same lugs as on the Dodge Dakota IIRC. (BLACK BULGE ACORN LUG NUTS 1/2-20 1/2")

Cheap and functional. I knock those off enough that they get a bit beat up so I buy extras if they get too chipped up.

McGard Makes a one piece high quality made in the USA lug nut #64010 in chrome-they also have the equivalent in black chrome-highly recommended- check them out available several places

Mcgard lugs are very high quality and they come in black. Don't get cheap lugnuts
