I usually park it in safe places. When I go to a resturant it is usually parked safe in sight or in a spot with valet eyes watching.

If I have a short stop like the grocery store, or cleaners, I usually park it anywhere safe.

I don't mind parking lots as long as I can sit in the restaurant and view the car. I park far away and visually watch over the car. I never leave the car where I can't sit and watch over it, but then again, I'm only taking her out for 600-1000 mi/yr.

DITTO. I'd never park in a public lot without being able to keep my eyes on it.

About the same here. However, I do make it a point though that if I can't see it then it is in a obvious place at the end of the parking lot where lots of other people could be witness to something happening to it. Just park smart and you should be okay.
