Can anyone advise as to how the rising rate fuel pressure regulator that comes with the Paxton S/C kit works? Obviously not directly linked to boost so does it just work off of RPM?

And also how the fuel pressure is regulated as standard on a 1996 RT/10?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. But it can't be directly related to boost as boost, as far as I'm aware, is not directly monitored on the Paxton kit? Or is this measured from the MAP sensor in the Split Second FTC-1 unit and then fed directly to the fuel pressure regulator/ fuel management unit?

its vaccum/boost controlled... there is (or there should be LOL:D) a vaccum line connected to it.

Thanks again. One thing I'm also not sure about - in the Paxton kit, the Split Second FTC-1 is said to control the two auxiliary fuel pumps. But how exactly do they do this? As far as I can tell, the only functionality that the FTC-1 has is to be able to retard timing and reduce fuelling...

the SS box turns the fuel pumps on anytime it reads boost from its vaccum source.
