My brother has a 1999 Viper and has a problem with the RPMs when he comes to a stop. While the car is in neutral while coasting the RPMs still rev at 2000 rpms. After 30 seconds it will go back down to normal. He has changed the IAC Motor recommended by dodge and the problem went away. After about a month or so the problem came back. Also looking at some paperwork the previous owner had the same problem and changed the IAC motor as well. Can someone tell me why the car does this? Any information would be helpful.
