I recently went through the joy of having an aftermarket radiator installed. Because of tight fitments, we had to order a custom radiator hose that is made from flex metal material.

Anyone know how I can burp the coolent with a "stiff" upper radiator hose. Yes that's a joke, but I am serious. Should I pull off a heater hose, or squeeze the lower rad hose.

Any better suggestions. In the future I will probably order Roe hoses and not hassle with this again.

Thanks for the input.

if you can, place an air relief valve in your heater hose. This is at the highest point, hose is located towards the back of engine under the cowl.
