Friend has a bone stock 03 srt-10, just dynoed 445 rwhp.
He is looking to bolt on a Stock Paxton kit, with the stock water to air intercooler.

I think most systems do 600-630 rwhp from what I've seen at 8lbs. or so. Post your numbers on the basic kit with stock motor, and also what is your trap speed in the 1/4 mile.

Is it true that the system loses some power after a couple of hard runs do to the water getting hot , and losing intercooling efficiency?

thanks!

Through tuning from Joe Donovan of PBJ my supercharged SRT Ram dynoed 667 rwhp with a VEC3 and all the other typical bolt ons (headers, no cats, DC performance blower flash, etc). This is with 8 pounds of boost. Not sure if it matters but the pistons were upgraded internally. Water/**** injection pushed the numbers to 702 at the wheels.

The system will lose power from heat soak after multiple hard runs.

Thanks Dave! forged pistons make a huge difference on the tuning and power goals. This particular car has stock cast pistons

Everything gets hot after a couple of hard runs and power suffers. To be consistent with the Paxton, you will need to cool the car between runs.

I would love to see what the trap numbers show, it would help many of us decide which way to go, n/a or s/c.
