folks,

A Replacement windshield for my SRT8 is almost $500- I was sooo bummed about this rock that took a chunk out of it. Anyway, after I get it replaced this afternoon I may have a treatment done to its windshield and the Viper (recommended by ClearBra installer) that adds 10x the repellant protection for rocks and sand. A side benefit is that it also acts as a permanent "rainex" type water repellant. It is called Diamon-Fusion, it appears to be a flat layer of silica based goo that fills in the microscopic imperfections of the glass.

Has anyone had any experience with this product? Just want to know if it is worth it. Installation aro $300 clams.

Geez, now we got SRT8 tax as well as Viper tax. I will immediately be backing off a little from the dump trucks. Ken I assumed you checked the price of a regular 300 windshield, gotta be exactly the same.

Yeah did- costing me just under $500 bucks. I could get that "resin fill" repair but those never really seem to look right or satisfy me.

The protective coat would go on top of the new windshield, so its really aro $800 total...

Sounds good. Keep us posted on the down side.

I'm a fan of the PIAA wiper blades and their sealant. Which they don't make for the SRT/10. If the treatment is like that it would be great.

ps I was just in your area for the 4th. Beautiful
