Hello, does anyone know the pulses per mile generated from the speed sensor for gen 1 viper t56 tansmissions? Getting a digital speedometer and it recommends that I set it as close as possible to what the stock speed sensor puts out.

You may have to do some calculations, but the reluctor (I think that's what it is called) is 40 teeth on GM transmissions. I put a NV4500 trans in one of my trucks and calculated the number of pulses generated per mile with the tire diameter and gear ratio. Most digital speedos will auto calibrate in the calibration mode when run over a measured distance or measured with a GPS. In my situation the calculated pulses were 30 off from the measured mile pulses.

Looks like I'll be doing some math. The gps sending unit has setting for 4000, 8000, and 16000. I'll eventually figure it out. There is also a setting to calibrate it while driving. Its A nice gauge though, records 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed recall. Managed a 0-60 of 3.59 sec in my gen 1 the first try :drive:
