Question about heat on sill panels

Hi,
I have a 98 Silver Viper rt/10. Does anyone have any side sill panel paint discoloration? I have right above the cats. I just had them repainted and want to keep them from doing it again. Any ideas? Has anyone put more heat tape on the inside of the panels? How about header wrap around the cats? Let me know some ideas. Thanks again.

Discoloration on silver and I believe white cars is a problem. Yes folks have used extra insulation on the insides of the sills but the biggest help for this problem is HI-FLOW cats.
