Question about white Mamba

Why is the fender portion under the hood of white mamba's painted flat black and not white?

If you are speaking about the fender edge where they attach to the frame,I believe they (all SRTs) are painted this way. I just inspected the area and can only surmise it is done to blend engine bay surfaces better(at the fender connection point).

I was at a dealer and check out the SRTs.All the fender edges where painted the same color as the cars. It seems to be only on the white Mamba's.
