Questions Regarding RB1/Sirius Unit . . .

I have a 2008 Viper with the RB1/NAV unit. I looked through the owners manual and the rest of the documents and I have two questions:

1) When I turn on the option for Sirius, the screen displays the channels and the name of the channel (Alt Nation, etc.) but I get no sound. Like XM, do I have to call Sirius to activate my account or does it come preactivated by the dealer?

2) I know this is a stupid question but again, my car doesn't seem to have the manual for the RB1 unit. I have figured out how to use and set presets 1-5. It also seems that by pressing a preset button twice (for example, pressing preset button 1 twice in rapid succession gives you preset 6 etc) you get the other presets (6-10). How in the heck do I set the radio and Sirius channels to preset buttons 6-10?

I figured out the RB1 preset issue. To access the second set of presents, select the "SET" option with the control button (lower left of the head unit) and then press enter twice. That will give you the option of selecting presets 6-10 depending on which preset button you press.

On the Sirius issue, the channels appear along with the channel name but it says "No Signal." Does this mean that my Sirius is active but that I can't get reception. The car is currently parked in my garage but I don't have this issue with another car equipped with XM. Is there a bid difference in reception strength with Sirius? (I know they use different satellite networks that orbit the earth differently but does this make a difference?)

Sirius is diferent to XM , it will not pick up the signal in u're garage that's because Xm has better ground antennas/repeaters than Sirius.

I don't deserve to be thanked for that one but I do have question.
Is there something (antenna) that can increase the range of the Sirius to make it compatable with the XM range?
Have you done this to any car? Would you do this on a Viper?

Maybe I'm getting blind or losing my mind, but I can't follow the manual to set up my Sirius. In order to get the needed code it asks me to push the eject and "Time" buttons simultaneously. But I don't see a "Time" button

Any help for the old and senile would be greatly apprciated.
