My srt-10 has finally broken in and it's time to mash the gas.

Is there a fuel-cut or some other safety feature at 6000 rpm?

thanx Dan.

... and yes there is a fuel cut-off. Best advice I have the first time you want to hammer it, is to go find a secluded road , go up to about 40mph in second and let her rock. Don't worry about wasting your time speed shifting and ripping your arm out it's socket, just get a good feel of the 525 ft. lbs of torque and the way this baby pulls. Don't take a passenger, as the smile on your face could be broad enough to knock them out of their seat.
