replacing airbags / clockspring?

When replacing the drivers side airbag (due to deployment) is it possible to re-seat the clockspring, or must a new one be fitted? I have the two airbag units (never dealt with airbags before) and does anything need to be done to the airbag module in behind the dash / radio? Thanks.

Hi Nadine,
If you have not removed the steering wheel and your just replacing the "Air Bag" the clockspring should be ok.
The module should also be ok. The impack senors are a simple steel ball that rolls up a ramp to make a connection to activate the "Air Bag System".
