Replacing xmas tree clip under front lights

I have just refitted the front bumper, how is it possible to replace the xmas tree clips under the two head lights, or it is Ok to leave them off?

Mine are OFF. No ill effects. I think most who have removed their fascia (and do it every year, or every other year to paint), leave them off.

They can be replaced from the wheel well. Take off that circular access port and you can reach in from there. I prefer to install them because they are easy enough to remove with one of those long handled, angled, forked pry tools.
