Has been temporarily removed for discussion by the web committee.

We have some problems with this.

First, calling it "Official" makes it seem VCA backed or Chrysler approved. Easily fixed.

Second, if we allow it here we may be liable, as the poster absolutely will, if someone falsifies a sticker for profit to change a car into something more rare. There was no chance of that with the other stickers being reproduced by Dodge. They were exact duplicate only.

Third, if the poster is going to sell something here he has to become a site supporter. Also easily fixed and not more than $100 bucks or so.

Having said all that we completely recognize that he is trying to provide a service to the guys who want it.

It's the ethical issue we are worried about. I've posted it for discussion in the web site committee forum and pending that discussion I'm going to temporarily remove the thread until we have a decision.
And yes, we recognize that the technology to do this is probably pretty easy to master, so there's no need to discuss that. The issue is whether the VCA wants there to be any marketing here of a technology that COULD potentially be used to falsify a window sticker.
Stay tuned, maybe there is a way to tighten this up a bit and do it somehow. And I really don't want to see a bunch of threads questioning this removal, I KNOW some of you want this, I would too if I was in a no sticker situation. I've explained what we are doing and those kinds of threads would be a violation of the rules and get removed anyway. Talk among yourselves via pm if you want to do a little moderator bashing. :rolaugh:
