..just an update from previous thread.

I just returned from running the Texas Mile over the weekend.
My '08 SRT10 is bone stock, except for the hard top, so my goal was 170MPH.

On my first pass I ran 169.30
on my second 169.572
on my third, I screwed up(hit the rev limiter in 2nd) 167.520
But on my fourth pass I broke 170 (170.30MPH to be exact)
and beat the Schwitzer helicopter that was filming
Yeah baby!

cornfed,
I heard about "the spin", but didn't get to the track until Saturday. Great photos!
I think I met one of your guys, or a guy promoting you website on the back of his TT Porsche, Alex, very nice guy, very fast car!

Congrats on achieving your speed goal! I was reluctant to enter mine and after seeing everyone and their cousin break, I'm glad that I didn't this time. Once I have a little more seat time with the Roe and have a thorough tech inspection I'll give it a whirl.

On another note: I'm sick of the shameless plugs for Left Lane Life on here and on the Alley. TorkGT already got called out on it more than once, and now it's going on over here. Yeah, we're aware there is a site called Left Lane Life. The few of us that went saw the cars with the windshield banners. We get it.

Don't get me wrong; I'm in marketing and I appreciate the hustle. No lie. I give you props. But you know when a movie is about to come out...and you're all excited about it...but every other commercial is a preview for it and before long you're sick of it before you even saw it? I'm afraid you may be overexposing yourself and your site and just annoying people rather than promoting brand awareness.

Food for thought. It's your gig and you can do what you want, but I thought I'd offer up one opinion.

The Porsche spun because of all things...his sunroof caved IN. Upset the aero of the car.
