Right in the middle of the Viper-Vette drag shoot-out the San Antonio Sports Car Assoc. was having an autocross event with another 50 or so sportscars of all makes. Since I didn't have a zillion HP and was getting my butt kicked (12.8 1/4mi.) I took my Viper over to it and set LTOD there by nearly a full second. Interestingly enough the night before I went to the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio where there were thousands of people eating at scores of packed restaurants and sat down at a table next to Roy and his wife from TNT. As it turns out Roy and I had never met before and then I hear he set the LTOD at the drag race at just about the same time I set my LTOD! Wow, that restaurant must have served up some magic Viper venom. Vipers ruled that day!
