ROE 02 Simulator/ECU Question

Ok, so I was looking at an 02 sim box the other day, from Roe, and noticed that there is a label on the box that reads:

WARNING
"You must confirm that +12V on vehicle harness is on PIN 1 before connecting simulator. A number of Dodge applications may have 12V and ground swapped. Vehicle ECU damage may result."

Any thoughts on this? Thanks! I dont have my manual or car at my location to verify.
