This may be old news, but I was daydreaming, making my Christmas list, and noticed that Roe blowers are 1.) not currently in production and 2.) jumped up $1k.

That said, if anyone has a Gen. I takeoff on the cheap, I'll put it on my Christmas list. CARRY ON.

Wow, that was a jump for something that's not even available
still a great product, just not the awesome value it used to be - just a good value now

Hmmm.. This isn't good.

Sean just cancelled his Gen 3 blower. It will not be produced at all.
I know a couple guys that have been waiting over a year for one...:(

He is actually going to make a tuner kit for the Paxton...:dunno:

jasontiff,

I have a Gen 1 Roe that comes complete, car/head/cam/, everything that I will sell you for xmas, all for 36K! It put down 648rwhp/745rwyq with factory exhaust manifolds. I just added 1 3/4 headers, so it should be about 670-680rwhp now.

No extra 1k in my pocket means no supercharger! I'm going to start putting a bunch of tuner stickers on my car. They're worth like 5-10 hp each right? Thats what the Honda guys are saying. The stickers will make people think my car is fast! Oh Wait....ITS A VIPER! ITS ALREADY FAST!:D JD

The Vipair is worth 50hp alone. :D Here's everything you wanted to know (but were afraid to ask) about the Vipair. Grab a six pack and take a gander at this: http://forums.viperclub.org/rt-10-g...o-results-99-rt-16-rwhp.html?highlight=vipair

I know Ryan was REALLY interested in your car for quite a while...that thing is a beast!

I actually just wrapped up doing heads/cam on mine, and did TNT headers as well. I'd probably be in the same ballpark power-wise if I got my hands on a Roe. Unfortunately though, I don't need a second Gen. I and don't have it in my budget for a second Viper right now. A blower could be a possibility down the road, but it isn't in the cards in the coming months.

yeah, it might be a good time to sell a used one since Roe is out of stock right now and the price increased. I wonder what used ones will sell for now?

Jason you going to dyno it to see what the mods gave you? I'm interested in seeing what your numbers are. I also find it interesting that two Jasons have the same year same color car. seperated at birth maybe?:D JD

97GTS B&W: Roe S/C 5#, VEC3, Borla headers and catless exhaust, smooth tubes and K&Ns, 1.7 rockers, 3.55 gears, Fidanza, short-shift kit, 577rwhp/577rwtq all on cast pistons

Did you have your forged pistons removed and replaced with cast? :dunno:

Once the break-in miles are done we're going to dyno tune it. I haven't romped on it too hard yet, so I haven't really felt any power gains. We shall see.

I'm going to do a small write-up when it's all concluded.

That sad to hear for a Gen1. Has it been confirmed with Sean? The Gen1's love boost with the low compression ratio and forged bottom end.

On a similar setup, heads/708/exhaust, and 6lbs of boost from a ROE my Gen1 dynod at 600RWHP & 600TRQ. That was also with stock Throttle bodies, where are a huge restriction in the intake path at that HP. I expect a ROE on your car with 10lbs, water-****, big TB's, and intake box would make over 700RWHP easily.

I guess we'll have to do a dyno at The RoundUp so that I can beat you N/A before the SC goes on.;)

TexasPettey,

I think you are correct. My car made 648rw with 10 pounds and the stock exhaust manifolds and stock throttle bodies. I just added headers, and I think if I were to give it a more aggressive tune, it would be close to 700rw. I have a conservative tune in the car now, I would rather be safe than sorry!

Am I still NA if I do a 100 shot? ;)

My break-in miles are almost up. I just need to get a replacement wire for #7 (accidentally gutted it pulling it off for boot protectors) and I'll be back on the road. I'll let you know what I net at the dyno.

I think I'm just going to buy the Ebay twin turbo kit for $500 and have 1400 RWHP (turbos not included) ;)

You just need to get yourself a new set of wires. That will add 100 HP right there :2tu:
