Fellow Viper Enthusiasts;
Behind every good vehicle is a team of designers, engineers, and managers that were instrumental in putting that vehicle on the road. The Dodge Viper is no exception, and much credit has been given to Carroll Shelby, Bob Lutz, Tom Gale, Herb Helbig, and Roy Sjoberg.
On February 1, 2011, the New Mexico Viper Club will be hosting an event where Roy Sjoberg will spend some time visiting with us on the Dodge Viper. I had the pleasure of listening to Mr. Sjoberg last Saturday, and was quite impressed with his stories and insight into the development and production of this sports car.
If you can make it, please reserve Tuesday evening to hear the "Father of the Viper." We are still working on the exact time and location of where we will be meeting, but we are thinking it will be at 6pm in Santa Fe. As soon as we have additional details, I will send out another broadcast, as well as post it on our Facebook site.
