Screw slicks to rims?

I've got Purner slicks and skinnies I bought from Scott "Toofast"(thanks!). They are great, but I want to drop the pressure on the strip below 15 lbs to hook better. I've been told I need to screw the slicks to the rims if I do that. Is that OK with these wheels? Do I need to?

I have run 9 psi without screwing the slicks down, if you are going to be running anywhere below that I would do it.
