seat recline...need help

today i had to disassemble my driver seat to adjust foam padding in seat bottom. all went smooth untill i tried to recline the seat after reassembly. the recline tab does have tension when i pull it. i even took the seat bottom back off to ensure the other end appears to be releasing. all looks well and feels well, but no movement with the seat back. Yes, it did work prior to removal.......any ideas?

found the problem. the little spring inside the actuator is broken. i have emailed a few of our collectors of "examples of bad judgement" to see if anyone has just the needed part used. i will contact Tators on monday to see what he has avaliable too.
