I know it is a strange market these days, but I think I will give it a try. Seems like some guys have done well with their cars as of late.

Very reasonably priced red 96 RT with all the trimmings in the VCA classifieds. Am I allowed to plug my own ad?

Variety of reasons. Most importantly, future wife howls every time I get in the car without air bags. Makes the experience a little less enjoyable.

Hence, I'll be getting a Gen II.

It's definetly a buyers market these days..So be prepared to negotiate , the good news is you'll be able to offset your sales loss with the reduced purchase price on the Gen II .

Good Luck !

Damn RavenFan.. perhaps this is just a taste of things to come? next thing you know, the viper will have too much HP and could spin you out into oncoming traffic.. or perhaps she will make you invest in your own personal crossing guard when trying to walk across the street? It's not like the viper is in the same category of risk as a street bike or something.. yikes.. I said street bike.. that is definitely a no no for you now. Eeek.. I'll be quiet now,, she might be reading over your shoulder and realize you could be getting dangerous thoughts from the internet. :D

Yeah my bike days are long gone. We have to make choices sometimes. I'll choose a Gen II and a happy better half vs. a Gen I and a miserable one any day of the week.

As an aside I lost two friends (30 an 31) to a high speed accident about two weeks ago. So the safety topic is hot in the house right now. No disrespect intended to my fellow Gen I owners. Future wife's perception is the key element.

So don't beat me up too much.

Mark great to hear from you. I'd love to but my kid sister is to be married on Saturday and I don't think she will let me out of it. HA!

Oh PLAN is not the word. I don't plan to be without a snake ever again. If I could sell my 96 today, I'd have a Gen II on Monday.

Thanks for the posts guys. Someday soon they will approve my ad in the classified section... :)
