I'm a new owner of a '94 RT/10. For right now, I'd like to keep my Viper relatively stock. I did, however, read about replacing the intake hoses with silicone for a small hp gain. Is there a preferred manufacturer of these siliocone hoses that fits better than another? I've seen some with a bend and some straight (straight ones are cheaper).

Thanks

I have the Roe hoses (intake and coolant) on my car and love them

they fit snug, so you have to work with them a minute or two, but they turn out great

Actually, the combination of smooth tubes and K&N filters will usually yield about a 10-15 RWHP gain. If you don't have a set of K&N's, I am selling a lightly used set for $40.

not to dog your sale 99, but I removed my K&N filters because they are too thick for the airbox and routinely cause the airbox clips to pop off. that said, there are many people still using them. I've heard some of the other foam filters (like the ones Roe sells) won't cause this problem, but I have yet to try them. I'm currently running fram paper filters.
