I have also asked my local dealer to look into this but does anyone have any insights into the Sirius option listed on the recently revised Dodge website for 2006 Vipers? It is listed as a $195 option. My car, an SRT-10 convertible, is already built and has just been loaded onto a trailer in Detroit. Is this an option that can be retrofitted by the dealer? Thanks for any info you can provide.

One other quick follow up: Does anyone know whether the option entails a change to the head unit of the car sound system or whether it entails adding any kind of noticeable antenna to the exterior of the car? Thanks again.

Hello Rich,

WHile I do not know where they will be locating the antenna in a factory install, yes, it is something that can be installed at a dealer. All SRT-10's come with the RBQ radio, which can control Satellite Radio. The Sirius unit and antenna simply plug into the back of your OEM radio, and you purchase the subscription to activate it...thats it.
