Sixth to Third at 80 is Fun!!!

After a month of ownership I am starting to get a bit more comfortable with the car. So this last weekend during a drive home from the NHRA Winternationals, I decided to have a little freeway fun. I started out by dropping from 6th to 4th and that felt good! Lots of pull, but there seemed to be more room left before redline. Slowed back down to 80 and put it in 6th again. Then when the road was straight and clear, I gave a quick blip of the go pedal and stuck 3rd hard.....Holy Cripes! There's the sweet spot. That car pulled like a ***** ape!!

My previous car, a 1999 Trans AM, had 4.11 gears and 420RWHP. So I was a bit scared to go 3rd at 80MPH. I am just not used to 3.07 gears.

Man I love this car.

Yesterday was the first time I punched my SRT in first, I was stunned, a little stronger than my 01 GTS. Too bad its raining today.
