Finally finished fitting my modifications , the belangers,the hi-flo cats, the borla, the smooth tubes and the quick shift and I've had the first few brief drives. Its a really wicked, slightly anti-social hard sound with an excellent cammy lumpy tickover. The power is definitely stronger, pulling much better up high but much the same as before lower down the rev range. The shifter works great and is an improvement over standard. Yesterday I took it and parked out front of my shop and every comment was favourable with a small crowd at times. Good advertising ! My Viper is certainly transformed and now the awesome sound matches the rest of the car. By the way the headers and system were a perfect fit only requiring slight adjustment of the motor mounts and the only hitch was realising that clamping the cats on doesn't work, they needed welded. I'm pleased
