Soft Paint for 97 GTS dash

Found some vinyl paint to touch up my black dash around the speedometer. The color matches, but the base of the vinyl paint is enamel.
Whenever the enamel comes in contact with the stock paint it acts as a paint remover, and the stock paints peels off more.

Needles to say, what started out as a minor touch up became a big spot (2"x2") before I could get the damage under control.

Does anyboy know what type of paint can be used that will blend in, and not cause the stock paint to come off upon contact?

Just pull the dash out and paint it. Any satin black spray paint will do it. Grab a can of easy-off, strip it and repaint. No big deal.

Yea, I agree. It may be easier and look better if you just repaint the entire dash.

***** this happened to you. I have a couple scratches I'd like to touch up as well.
