speedo stopped working . . .

I just installed an msd window switch on my 97 gts. It's the one that doesn't need pills. I tapped into the red with yellow wire (number 3 pin)for the tach signal and the switch works fine, but my speedo doesn't work now. Is it possible this had anything to do with it? If not, anything I might look for?

On the 1st gen cars (don't know if its the same on the 2nd gen cars - I've not looked on mine), the speedo signal is a separate two-conductor connector on the back of the dash - its possible you disconnected it when doing your modification, and just didn't reconnect it. Otherwise, I'd look for the connector and see if you cut the wire somehow.
