SRT-10 wheels on a Gen I or Gen II car?

Anyone done this yet?

I see there is someone on ebay selling complete sets of SRT-10 wheels with tires for $2000. If it is for real it is a pretty darn good deal. These wheels have the Gen II viper head logo center caps too.

Yes they will fit.but gen1 or 2s will not fit the rear of the gen3s without an adapter and fabrication to the parking brake mount

Several months ago someone posted a pic of a Silver GTS in Maryland with them on, not that bad looking.......

I looked them up on eBay. I asked the seller if they were repo's or take-offs. The seller said they are Factory take-offs with aftermarket center caps. Wow...$1,999.95 seems way to cheep for Gen 3 take-offs. He said $2,300.00 shipped to my door. Tempting!!!! I hope they aren't rip-offs. I think they would look killer on a GTS!

Those wheels with the same picture has been listed about ten different times this week by different ebay accounts. They keep popping up and then taken off by ebay.
Kind of raised a red flag.

I have pics of the GEN 3 rims on a GEN 2 and it looks ugly (IMO)! I will try and post later.

Um, is it just me or is this VERY similar to the Mohammed scam? See the top thread in this forum and tell me if this isn't setting off some serious alarm bells.

And note to Ryck: If you DARE think about putting SRT wheels on a 200 mile '97 GTS I will personally get your membership in ANY club revoked...

To my knowledge all the auctions have ended and all the sets were sold. Maybe someone can tell us if they ever got these wheels or not.

The wheels appear to be chrome reproductions. Which is no different than say the chrome reproduction Z06 wheels you see on a host of corvettes and f-bodies.

I don't know as that I am go for the look either, but I certainly would like to see some pics. It seemed to me there was a pic of a GTS with these wheels at a Viper event posted some months ago...

It mentions some possible ebay scams, yet the owner of the car pictured on the above link is noted to have gotten them off of ebay.
