Steering Wheel change

I found a mamba Steering wheel for my 04. I really like the color keyed steering wheel. Anyone change the wheel and how long should a qualified viper tech take. My dealer told me it could be a 2 hour job. They dont see many vipers I think a top viper tech should do it in 30 min. Anyone know the time it should take,and does anyone know a qualified tech in the tri state area Thanks for the help

I have removed the wheel in my viper and installed a Grant Wheel in under a hour and a half. I have adapters for sale that fit Grant or Momo wheels. You should be able to swap the wheels in about 45 minutes. You will need to buy or rent a steering wheel puller set that comes with both metric and sae threads to do the job .

I have it on my car (not a Viper but it would sure look good in one). Wheel itself cost me about €255, the custom hub €50. For the record, it doesn't have an airbag but neither did the stock steering wheel on my car

Take it to Chuck Tator. He will do it properly and has seen more Vipers than any other dealer I know of.

I am in Bergen county RiverVale dont see many viper around I think i may be the only viper in town I like it that way Thanks for recommending Tator it only 40 miles away on map Quest Thanks again
