Stock suspension adjustments

I think I remember an old post regarding this, but can't seem to find it.

I am wondering if anyone has stiffened the stock suspension (non ACR) and lowered the car either with Eibachs or Hypercoils. If so, how do you do it and what spring rates are advisable?

I have Eibachs and Koni adjustable (middle settings).
The car runs fine but does not like bumps or sharp edges.
