Hey gang ,I seem to have electrical problems with the temperature guage on my 93 rt . it at times seems to lose power , like turning the ignition off only im going down the highway at 60mph.It may only do it once in a while ?? Im confused is this electric or could this be a sticky thermo ?
WHAT SHOULD I TRY AND DO ?

How far does the gauge drop? All the way to zero or just to the normal operating range. I would say if it drops to zero you have a faulty gauge, wiring or heat sensor. If it just drops to the normal range or a little lower maybe you have a sticky thermostat that opens wide all of a sudden causing a sudden drop in the temp.

John, You could check the connector at the temp sensor on engine. I have repaired a few vipers with the same problem and it was at that conector. Hope that helps you? It's not the thermo.
