My buddy Jerry Dobson and I just got finished changing the Tranny out of my viper. My original tranny was fine except it would grind going into reverse. Well I had an extra transmission lying around (long story) so I thought what the hell. So Jerry and I changed out the tranny, Clutch, slave cylinder, and installed a short throw shifter.

It was a little bit tougher than we thought but I really did have one of the best Viper Mechanics out there working on my car. In fact I can't think of any other person who I would rather have working on my baby then Jerry.

Now I did have to pay him in free lawn mowing for the rest of his life (I own a Landscape company) and a few dinners. But Jerry is well worth it.

So I just wanted to say thanks to my good buddy Jerry for all the work: Thanks Jerry!!!

Now what you have all been waiting for pics of my **** body working on the viper:

Disclaimer: I am not really that ugly in real life. Look closely and you can see the belly muscles.

Are you sure there was work done in THAT garage? It may be the angle, but that floor looks pretty dang clean to have had any work done in it.

Thanks Dan. Don’t forget to throw in some snow plowing also.

Dan did get dirty and learned a lot about his Viper during the repair. I mop that floor several times a week. I try to keep that floor spotless.

Yes the garage/home/lawn is THAT clean. The garage resembles a display rather than a functional shop. But-I have seen a lot of work happening in there.

Jerry-that was a quicker install than you thought. I will stop by another time for a "lunch and learn".
