Due to his great illustrated guide, I decided to attempt to repair my cracked center console before it got worse. Used his guide, fabricated a piece of wood not nearly as nice as his, but I'm no carpenter. It turned out great and is super solid.

I'm glad it worked. It will definitely save the center console from cracking further.
Luckily it doesn't have to look pretty as no one will ever see it.


I'm in the process of creating a "wedge" that will fit underneath the center console.
Should have one done in the next week or so.

I'll post some pictures as soon as I get one done.
