That su*ks. I've been there before too. Blew the trans in my cobra at the track years ago. Its all part of the fun.

I'm sure the others will let me know the times. But I don't have them at the moment

I have just removed the half shaft, there's damage to the coupling on the rear diff , one of the small tabs has sheared off . The UJ coupling it's self is broken top and bottom, there is also damage to the half shaft it's self , the ends holding the bearings are distorted and the circlips are distorted

Shame about the breakdown - at least it's at the end of season, not beggining.
You have all winter to hatch a recovery for Spring 2013......

Did anyone challange my 9.8 sec street car / radials time? I haven't bothered keep on abusing my '97 up and down the strip since that achievement some years ago. I was so gutted for you Mark, you would have had such fun smokin' the quarter...

I'm not sure if there were any Videos,
The casualty list was fairly high!

Me with a damaged Diff and Halfshaft,
Madmax Ade (uk pres) Cooked his clutch in the Blue and White GTS.
Dave in the Black RT/10 Also had clutch issues after his second run

Viper Baz uk and Madmax Ade will be at VOI 12, So I will have to wait for them to return to find out if there were any Videos

I did not see any of the Drag Racing as I had to push my car just over 1/2 a mile to the front gate of the Drag strip entrance and wait for the recovery truck, I can tell you if you need to loose any weight, pushing a GTS 1/2 a mile, will shed the pounds! I was drained by the time I got to the front gate

What then made it worse was when the recovery truck turned up, it was Bright Yellow, so seeing my Fast Red car stuck on the Big Yellow recovery truck the Yellow owners started ribbing me! Talk about hitting a man when he's down

Nadine, I did hear there was a '12' something, so I think your time is safe I think the Copperhead's best time was a 17 something
