My niece is "Miss" everything in her hometown. Sooooo, who is asked to furnish car and driver in the Christmas parade? You got it, Uncle Jim.

Meaghan got her share of attention, but man, you would not believe the comments about the Viper!! Nice car, badass, awesome, it's a VIPER, etc. etc. My favorite was when one of her boyfriends came close to say hello to her and could not stop talking about the car - "man, it shakes the ground." Hehe, yes it does, thanks to the comp coupe cam! It was a little unnerving, because at times the crowd was so large it spilled over into the street very close to the parade. It felt weird to have thousands of eyes focused on the car. Fortunately, the car was unscathed, and another Viper duty was completed - mission accomplished, and Viper proud!!

And before you ask, don't have pics from her Dad yet.

I picked up our son at his elementary in car pool. While I am waiting I can hear the kids saying there's a Viper, etc. It is amazing how young kids become interested in cars. If I ran a car company, marketing(events, ads) would include the future buyers.

I have another story like that...

I pulled up to the Sagamore hotel here in MIami Beach , 1 car behind Scott Stork (I hope I got the name right!) in his VEYRON and with Nikk Hilton on the passenger seat. The car in between us, an escalade full of 300lb bodyguards.

I swear for everything I hold sacred, people were looking at both cars just as much, I even left mine in the valet right in front 2 cars away from his. Yes, I did have my bombshell in my passenger seat as well, so who knows, maybe people thought we were together :)

It was funny, you can buy 20 vipers for the price of 1 VEYRON!! But my black beast held its ground with pride!! One thing for sure, mine sounded a lot more mean than the Veyron, it is very mellow and quiet... mine makes alarms go off even when at idle.

I think the kids love them most, remember when you were little, I remember all I wanted was big muscles and a bad *** car! muscles because I had a big brother who worked out.

Congratuations on your good deed JB/SRT! Yes, sometimes Vipers and their owners are tasked with varied and difficult duties. We are all called upon at some time or another to rise to the occasion. Like yours and countless others, our Viper has stood tall on many parade type events. The most well publicized challenge is the annual Twinsdays event in Twinsburg, Ohio. This festival has been going on for over 30 years and draws 2000 sets of twins and media coverage from all over the world the first week end of August. We have been in the parade twice with the same lovely passengers. This year the Viper won the car entry in the big parade and the girls later won most alike for their age group.

By golly, as long as the old LND RKT is up to the 1200 mile trip, my brother and I will continue to stand tall for Viperdom.

Keep up the good work JB! I'm sure you will be called upon again.

Steve
