I still had the original tires on my 95 RT/10 when we purchased it, big mistake. The old originals were hard and slick, then I bought some new Michelin's and a world of difference they make. I could easily spin the tires in first gear, by stompin it at 3000 rpms and go no where, but now that I have new tires all I go is faster. No more spinning tires and uneasy in curves: these things stick. I can't believe the difference in the power that I get now because of traction.
I knew the old tires were not great becasue of the age but what a huge difference they made. The old ones used to track in the grooves of the road and pull the car in one dirrection or the other, but no more.

We had the same experince with the 95 RT.

Had a little tire roasting party before putting on the new tires.

For anyone who has never changed a tire on a viper before be warned. Have a few spare towels, small blankets and make sure you have a tie down strap, either from factor or other. The rims don't even fit in the trunk.
