I pulled a 12-penny nail out of my front tire tonight 
I don't feel comfortable having it patched since I attend a Viper Days weekend once in a while. The set of tires is the original set with about 9,000 miles on them ('02). I don't know the exact tread depth but it looks like there's still quite a bit of life in them. I probably can't get by with just one new tire given the 9k miles. Has anyone been in this situation?
Did you replace just the 2 fronts or all 4 even though there was life left in the rears? Do I replace all 4 and keep the replaced tires as spares? Do they keep well?
Any advice would be appreciated?
