Trunk repair...?

Pulled the soft top out of my car the other day and realized I had the top in upside down. Didn't know there was such an orientation, until I noticed the front latch had rubbed through the soft top bag and scored a nice groove into the trunk surface on the "bridge" next to one side of the spare tire.

If I wanted to repair the trunk groove, does anyone have any ideas? My thinking was to use some fiberglass epoxy, but what about the color of the trunk paint, anyone know what it is?

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
