I need to get a trunk shock for a 2000 RT/10 for a customer of mine. I remember seeing them on the site but do not remember who sold the kit. If you know please respond or email me

Thanks in advance

That thing says it has 40lb pressure.

That sounds like more than I would think you would need.

Seems like that much pressure would twist the trunk if you pushed down on the center to close it.
I don't really know, anyone have one?

Can't you use a generic lift strut?
Just get one that meets the specs as the existing one on the car?
I never thought a strut was that expensive.
Mine is starting to weaken, not keeping the lid up.

The SnakeOyl Strut is an Attwood unit (www.attwoodmarine.com part number SL34-40-1) the invaluable part of the SnakeOyl strut is the instructions and templates. If you don’t know where to drill the holes and where to mount the strut you could get into trouble. 40 lbs is just about right and may even be a little on the week side. It works great.
