Va-Md VCA Holiday Party in Annapolis

We're looking at having our first holiday party in Annapolis on (probably) December 7. (Date has changed to December 21! See my post below.) I sent out an email Thursday night to everyone whose email address I had to gauge response. So far 50 people have responded. If you haven't responded yet, please give me a call at home (703-241-2878) or drop me an email here . I'm not asking for a firm commitment yet, but the number of attendees are significant, as we've got a great place for 50-60 people lined up, but if there are more interested we're going somewhere else rather than turn people away. We hope to finalize things in the next few days, so don't delay in responding.

A formal invitation will be in the mail within a week.

Due to an anticipated turnout of between 80-100 people for this event, we've had to reschedule it for Saturday, December 21, when we can get a larger room. Site is Loews Annapolis Hotel. This event is open to VCA members. A mailing with full details will go out to Va-Md members within the next week.

Will you be able to reserve a block of rooms for those comming in from out of the area? after acult beverages i hate to drive.

Loews will hold a block of rooms. Their special rate is $129. (The regular rate is $199!) This is a pretty classy hotel.
