I called the latest number (1-800-998-1110) that Joe had given us on the
valve Recall issue. Up to this point I have not been contacted by anyone from
Dodge or ISG other then getting the Recall letter and the Accord and
Satisfaction document.
As I understand it, the two pleasant individuals that I talked to work at
Viper Headquarters but are representing Dodge, or bridging the gap between Viper
owners, Dodge and ISG for this issue. I talked to Kim initially and provided
some basic information. I received a call from Cindy the next day offering four
possible Dealers for the valve fix from her list of approved Dealers. The
nearest Dealer is in Austin TX., about 400 hundred miles from where I live.
Cindy offered to have it trailered by Reliable to one of the four dealers for the
fix, and then trailered back to Brownsville TX.
I asked Cindy if any of the dealers had done the fix yet, she wasn't sure,
but would get back to me. The four Dealers she gave me where:
¯ Huffines Dodge in Lewisville, TX.
¯ Northwest Dodge in Houston, TX.
¯- Maxwell Dodge in Austin, TX.
¯- Archer Dodge in Strafford, TX.
Does anyone on the board have any experience with the Dealers or any of the
Viper Tech's at these locations? I'm anxious to get the fix done but will not be
pushed into it if I don't have some type of comfort level with the Dealership's
that Cindy suggested.
